- Lara Trump smoothly answered tough questions about her intelligence, then directed the questions to criticize Democrats
- As co-chair of the Republican National Committee, she emphasized how she values factual information over emotional impact.
- She was recently appointed co-chair of the Republican National Committee
Lara Trump held a question-and-answer session with a viewer during an episode of her podcast and managed an awkward moment when she asked if she was “as stupid as she seems.”
Trump, Eric Trump's wife, remained calm and unflinching, turning what was likely a rehearsed response into a direct attack on Democrats.
'oh! This is good, “Is Lara Trump as stupid as she seems?” What is it, is it stupid? Let me ask you that, sir. I — again, I always say, I'm just giving you information and facts,” Trump responded.
Lara Trump, who currently co-chairs the Republican National Committee, suggested that people who vote Democratic may do so because they are driven by emotion rather than facts.
“The stupid thing to do is vote for a party that hates you and hates this country. The stupid thing is to vote for a party that ultimately wants to destroy America, but you're one of them. think.
“There's nothing stupid here. I've actually done research, I actually have real information, and I'm not really influenced by emotion, I'm influenced by cold, hard facts. ” she continued.
“You might want to jump on that bandwagon, because right now it's all sunshine and lollipops and rainbows, but if something happens, you're going to turn around and say, 'Hey, I am.' I bet Lara Trump was right. ”
Those who responded online had a more comical take on her answer.
“The answer to your question is yes. Yes, she is,” Mike Morton wrote.
“She could have just said yes,” Cooper added.
“I'm willing to bet that no one will look back and say 'Lara Trump was right,'” one tweet read.
“I can answer this. Yes, that's right, she is. If she doesn’t believe me then she should look at who she is willing to marry,” added another X user.
Last month, Lara was elected co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), completing her father-in-law Donald Trump's takeover of the Republican Party.
She took over one of the top roles along with another Trump supporter after Ronna McDaniel stepped aside.
The Democratic Party immediately rejected her elevation, saying her “nepo” title would ensure another disastrous election for her party.
And while Mr. Trump's team has pledged not to use RNC funds to pay for personal legal fees, key aides will likely face few challenges going forward.
Lara Trump even said she believed voters would agree with the party introducing the bill.
“As co-chair, I am committed to protecting elections, ensuring RNC funds are used to maximum effect, and building critical capacity to ensure we win close races.” Lara said.
“Everything I do on this committee will be focused on one thing: reelecting Donald Trump, flipping the Senate, and expanding the House this November.”
In the future, he is expected to focus on TV appearances and fundraising activities.
