The Las Vegas Raiders are moving fast in the lead-up to the NFL Draft, operating frugally but not cheaply while National Football League free agency progresses.
General Manager Tom Telesco, Coach Antonio Pierce, Defensive Coordinator Patrick Graham, and Offensive Coordinator Luke Ghezzi are all actively recruiting talent that could rebuild the Silver & Black team for the next decade. I am evaluating it.
The team is moving forward with a single focus.
In the latest Las Vegas Raiders Insider podcast episode, we evaluate defensive back Antonio Pierce and answer some emails.

At the NFL owners meeting in Orlando, Antonio Pierce talked about adding another top cornerback to his locker room.
“Yes, I like it. [Terrion] Arnold, hey. We had a good conversation at the start of the combine because he came looking a little lackluster and I was like, “Hey, where's the juice?'' I heard you had a little something going on.’ And it took off, and up until pro day we were just talking about ball and trying to get to know him a little bit more as a person. Because you never know what will happen. In the draft. But whenever you're around a good soccer player, you want to talk to him. And I think it's good for someone like me, a former player, to tell him what to expect. If you go to the first round and go to the second round, you'll end up back at the bottom again, right? He has to start from scratch and earn achievements. So when you look at this draft, you see a lot of talented DBs and I think they can come in and play right away. ”
The NFL Draft will be held April 25-27, 2024 in Detroit, Michigan. The Las Vegas Raiders currently have the 13th overall pick.
