The Las Vegas Raiders are moving fast in the lead-up to the NFL Draft, operating frugally but not cheaply while National Football League free agency progresses.
General manager Tom Telesco, coach Antonio Pierce, defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, and offensive coordinator Luke Ghezzi are all actively recruiting talent that could rebuild the Silver & Black team for the next decade. I am evaluating it.
The team is moving forward with a single focus.

Tom Telesco, the Las Vegas Raiders' new general manager, spoke at the NFL Combine about what he will take and what he won't take from the league.
“There are a few things, one is, for me, I love being with our guys at the combine. When you talk about our guys, like the human resources staff. Especially now, I love being with our guys. So, I spent a lot of time just getting to know them better.'' Talking to all the scouts, all the personnel people about football. I love that part of it because we're together all day. I've been to a few different committee meetings the last few days, and I'll be doing that starting tomorrow. I'm with my guys every day, so that's a big part of it. I'm not part of that next part, but the medical process is huge and we really need it. I don't participate in it at all, but it's the most important part of the combine. And all the measurable data that we receive is very important to me. Does it need to be constantly monitored? Not necessarily. You don't need to see someone else retrieving the data. We don't need to see them do the long jump, but that data is very important for us to make decisions. Interviews are great, but at the end of the day, a 15 or 20 minute interview doesn't break much new ground. Our scouts already do a lot of behind-the-scenes work on players, so they already have that information. You can get a little feel for their personalities, but ultimately you need to spend more time with them than just 15-20 minutes. So interviews are great, but for me it's not a big part of it. ”
The NFL Draft will be held April 25-27, 2024 in Detroit, Michigan. The Las Vegas Raiders currently have the 13th overall pick.
