Manck Wilson Mandala plans to add a large office space in Uptown Dallas.
The locally founded, technology-focused law firm has been based out of Banner Place on Coit Road in North Dallas for many years.
The company will lease 42,000 square feet at the Texas Capital Center at 2000 McKinney Ave., according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The company will be relocating to the 19th and 20th floors of the building, according to the filing. Construction on the space is expected to begin in May, with interior work expected to be completed in July.
McKinney was recently renamed the Texas Capital Center after the Dallas-based publicly traded financial institution of the same name renewed and expanded its headquarters lease in the building in 2000.
It’s unclear whether Mank Wilson Mandala plans to continue to have a store in North Dallas.
The company declined to comment.
Munck Wilson Mandala works with a wide range of clients, from startups to Fortune 50 companies, on trade secrets, patents, and intellectual property issues.
In addition to Dallas, the company has offices in Los Angeles, Orlando and South Florida, as well as Marshall, Austin, Houston and Waco, Texas.
