The Mavericks provided an update on Luka Doncic's facial injury.
Although it was initially diagnosed as a nasal contusion, the Mavericks listed Doncic next on the list. The injury report for Thursday's game against the New York Knicks reported a broken nose. Doncic and Kyrie Irving (right thumb sprain) are both likely to be in the conference.
Doncic wore a mask for part of Dallas' 119-107 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. He removed his mask midway through the first quarter because it affected his breathing.
Doncic said the mask was the one Maxi Kleber tried to use when he suffered a broken nose last week.
A reunion with former Maverick Jalen Brunson is also up in the air. The Knicks listed the All-Star guard as questionable after spraining his right ankle in Tuesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Mavericks have listed Maxi Kleber with a dislocated right little toe, and Dante Exum (right knee bursitis) and Derek Lively II (nose fracture) are also out. The Knicks have a long list of missed meetings, led by Dallas' Julius Randle.
OG Anunoby, Quentin Grimes and Mitchell Robinson are out, and Jericho Sims is questionable.
