On Saturday afternoon, the Dallas Mavericks will host the Oklahoma City Thunder in Texas in Game 3 of the second round of their playoff series.
The Mavs will have their best player in the starting lineup for this game, as All-Star forward Luka Doncic has been upgraded to availability.
Via Mavs PR: “Luka Doncic (strained right knee, sore left ankle) will be available for Game 3 against the Thunder.
Maxi Kleber (right shoulder AC separation) and Olivier Maxence Prosper (left ankle sprain) will be absent. ”
Doncic is coming off another impressive regular season, averaging 33.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game on 48.7 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from 3-point range in 70 games.
The Mavs are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a record of 50 wins and 32 losses.
They defeated James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round (6 games).
Currently, the Mavs and Thunder are tied at 1-1 with Games 1 and 2 split in Oklahoma City.
The Mavs won 119-110 (in Game 2), with Doncic scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals while shooting 11/21 from the field and 5/8 from the field. He recorded one block and took the lead. He recorded a 3-point shot in 41 minutes of playing time.
Game 4 of the series will be played Monday night in Dallas, Texas.
Whoever wins the series advances to the Western Conference Finals to face either the Denver Nuggets or Minnesota Timberwolves.
