Landon comes to Metrotex at a difficult time for the 26,000-member association. The company is currently the subject of two counterfeit fee lawsuits in which the company and other real estate agents are accused of conspiring to artificially inflate real estate agent fees.
Metrotex announced in October 2023 that Janet Cain would be leaving the industry association, where she had been for five years, and began a search for a new CEO.
