Eagle County is proud to participate in the Sheriff Scholarship Program with counties across the state through the Colorado County Sheriff's Department. This wonderful program awards her $500 scholarships to approximately 30 people each year across Colorado.
This program recognizes the Colorado State Sheriff's Association's commitment to honorary membership. Established in 1978. Since then, the program has continued as a meaningful expression of the respect for education and training shared by Colorado's county sheriffs. We believe these scholarships are an investment in the future of Colorado's communities and youth.
Starting in 2024, the format of the scholarship will change to allow for even or odd graduation years. These graduates are eligible to apply for scholarships offered to counties in the designated list below.
