Tuesday night's NBA schedule will feature an intriguing West vs. East matchup as the Dallas Mavericks continue their four-game road trip and take on the Cleveland Cavaliers at 7 p.m. ET.
Dallas (33-24) lost to the Pacers 133-111 on Sunday, ending its winning streak at seven. The game was just a four point game early in the fourth until Indiana broke off a 20-4 run to put the game out of reach. Meanwhile, Cleveland (37-19) defeated the Wizards 114-105 on Sunday for its first win since the All-Star break. Jarrett Allen had 22 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, and the Cavaliers kept Washington at bay throughout the second half.
In terms of injuries, Luka Doncic (nose), Josh Green (elbow), Maxi Kleber (nose) and Derek Lively II (nose) are listed as available for the Mavericks.
Cleveland enters the game as a 4.5-point favorite with a total score of 232.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook. The Cavaliers are listed as -192 favorites on the money line, while the Mavericks are +160 underdogs.
Mavericks vs. Cavaliers, 7 p.m. ET
Select ATS: Mavericks +4.5
Both teams in the playoffs have performed well throughout February, so this game should be a close and competitive matchup. Dallas is 16-10 against the spread on the road this year, and I imagine the team will come back motivated after taking Sunday's game late. I'm going to take the Mavs to cover here.
Top/Bottom: Less than 232.5
The under has been a mainstay for both teams this year and has been as of late, holding opponents to under 113 ppg in each of the last 10 games. It's expected to be a tough match where we will have some trouble finding our rhythm offensively, so I'd like to lean toward the under.
