The Golden State Warriors (34-30) continue their three-game road trip against the Dallas Mavericks (37-28) on Wednesday. An informational alert from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas is set for 8:30 PM ET, and the game will be available in local markets. This is the second of four games this season between the two teams, with Dallas' first win coming in December, 132-122.
There's only one player listed on Golden State's injury report, and that's Stephen Curry. He did not play Wednesday and is working his way back from his ankle injury. Curry is scheduled to practice with the team on Friday and could return to action Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Dallas' injury report was also short, with just guard Brandon Williams sidelined with a sprained left wrist.
The Mavericks are 7-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook. Dallas' moneyline odds are -278, while Golden State is set as a +225 underdog. The total points will be 233.
Warriors vs. Mavericks, 8:30pm ET
Select ATS: Mavericks -7
Golden State defeated the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, ending their losing streak at two. Dallas continues to play well and has now won three in a row after losing three in a row before that. The Warriors are his fourth-best team against the spread in the league, covering his 55.6% of games. The Mavericks have covered the spread in his 53.9% of games, which is his seventh-best mark in the league. Still, I'm on Dallas' side because it's going to be tough for Golden State to cover without Curry.
Top/Bottom: 233 or more
Even without Curry, the Warriors have scored at least 112 points in their last two games. The Mavs have scored at least 114 points in five consecutive games and have scored 142 and 127 points in their last two games, respectively. This Western Conference matchup should be decided.
