The NFL announced its 2024 regular season schedule on Wednesday, and Dallas Cowboys fans are in for a treat.
At least seven national television appearances are scheduled for next season, highlighting the Cowboys' expected matchups.
Notably, the Cowboys' schedule includes six games that will be nationally broadcast in prime time, three of which will be played at AT&T Stadium. Fans look forward to seeing their team in the national spotlight.
The Cowboys will face stiff competition in nine games against eight teams that have qualified for the 2023 playoffs, including Baltimore, Cleveland, Detroit, Houston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Tampa Bay.
In addition to the three prime-time games at AT&T Stadium (including two on ESPN and one on NBC), the Cowboys will continue their tradition of having a national broadcast on FOX on Thanksgiving Day this year.
In addition, the team will make three national prime-time road appearances, two on NBC's Sunday Night Football and one on Prime Video's Thursday Night Football.
Interestingly, Dallas will play two football games on Monday night, marking the 26th time a team has played multiple MNF regular season games and the first time since 2005. This will allow Dallas to make its 87th appearance on Monday night and continue to solidify its place in NFL history. .
For the first time since 2011, the Cowboys will open the season against an AFC team and begin the campaign on the other side. The absence of three home games also marks a unique change from last season.
More thrilling games will take place in November as the Cowboys travel to Atlanta and then face division rivals Philadelphia and Washington. The annual Thanksgiving Day game against the New York Giants promises to be a highlight, continuing the tradition of divisional opponents facing off on the holiday.
In December, the Cowboys host Cincinnati in their second game on Monday night, followed by games against Carolina and Tampa Bay. The regular season concludes with a home game against Washington, marking an exciting end for the team and fans.
