NFL star Patrick Mahomes posts trending post after Dallas Mavericks’ Game 3 win

On Sunday night, the Dallas Mavericks hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves in Texas for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

The game was extremely close, but the Mavs won 116-107 to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.

Luka Doncic led the team with 33 points, seven rebounds, five assists, five steals and one block on 10-of-20 field goal shooting and 5-of-11 3-pointers in 41 minutes of playing time.

Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes was also in attendance.

After his big win, he posted on X, which garnered over 22,000 likes and over 530,000 impressions within six hours.

Mahomes wrote:: “The atmosphere tonight was amazing!🔥🔥 Follow !!!!!!”

The Mavs have a chance to sweep the Timberwolves with a win (also at home) on Tuesday night.

The team that wins this series will advance to the NBA Finals to face either the Boston Celtics or the Indiana Pacers.

The Celtics currently lead the Pacers 3-0 with Game 4 set for Monday night in Indiana.

As for Mahomes, he has attended many Mavs games over the years.

The former Texas Tech star is coming off a sensational year in which he led the Chiefs to their second consecutive Super Bowl (and third in five years).

Although the Mavericks missed the NBA playoffs this year, they did reach the conference finals for the second time in the past three seasons.
