A North Texas developer wants to build a master-planned community of about 3,000 homes in Pilot Point.
Farmers Branch-based Centurion American Development Group announced Tuesday that construction on Bryson Ranch is scheduled to begin in late 2024.
About 3,000 lots will be in the 40-60 foot range, with an additional 120 townhome lots. Contractors for the development include D.R. Horton, Beazer, First Texas, Ashton Woods and M/I Homes. The company said the first lots are expected to be completed in early 2026.
The 1,050-acre development is located north of Moberly Road between Wright Ranch Road and Hames Road. Bryson Ranch will offer a wide range of amenities on approximately 20 acres, including four amenity centers, two of which will have resort-style pools and fitness centers. Other amenities will include playgrounds, sports courts, small parks and walking trails, according to the company.
Centurion American also plans to build a two-acre site for a future EMS facility. In addition, Bryson Ranch will include about 60 acres of commercial space and 60 acres of multifamily space to be developed by other partners, the company said.
Centurion American last week purchased about 1,100 acres of land between Celina and Pilot Point. The company bought the land from Blue Star Land, which is owned by the family of Dallas Cowboys’ Gene and Jerry Jones.
Bryson Ranch is Centurion American’s newest development in the Pilot Point area, the others being Creekview and Moberly Farms.
“The City of Pilot Point has been an exemplary partner for many years,” Centurion American Development Group CEO Mehrdad Moayedi said in a statement. “We are excited to play a role in the community-shaping growth and development throughout this highly sought-after area of Denton County.”
