The Oklahoma City Thunder had their backs against the wall during Game 4. The Thunder, who were down 2-1, overpowered the Mavericks in the final stages of the Dallas road trip, completing a comeback and securing the victory.
With both teams splitting their home court games, the Thunder will return home with a chance to take the series lead for the first time since winning Game 1. This is a huge opportunity for Oklahoma City. With a 3-2 series lead, the Thunder will have two chances to end the series.

A trip to the Western Conference Finals is well within reach for the Thunder, and in order to do so, they must work on their home floor.
Thunder:
There are no injuries to report.
Heretic:
Possibly Luka Doncic (knee)
Maxi Kleber, OUT (shoulder)
Olivier Maxence Prosper, OUT (ankle)
It's no secret that Luka Doncic will play despite being on the injury report, but it's worth noting his mention as a possibility. His knee is still bothering him a lot and he's been a step behind in this series. It must be exhausting for Doncic to constantly have to face stout defenders like Lou Dort and Kason Wallace while dealing with injuries.
Nevertheless, there's nothing new on the injury report heading into Game 5 in Oklahoma City. This series is still highly watched as the series record of 2 wins and 2 losses does not favor either team.
The Thunder were underdogs in both games in Dallas. The Mavericks are currently trailing in each of their three games in Oklahoma City. Heading into Wednesday night's game, Oklahoma City is a 4.5-point favorite over the Mavericks.
Winning this game in any way would be huge for the Thunder and would hurt the morale of the Mavericks. If they can regain momentum in the series with just one more win, the Thunder will essentially have a straight path to the conference finals.
