From Forbes on what it takes to start a business.
What I Wrote Recently Forbes As a member of Forbes Business CouncilBaker offered valuable insight on how to start a business based on his own experience with a Dallas-based company. Park Hub.
“I quickly realized that capital alone is not enough for a startup. When entrepreneurs are asked to rate the biggest problems they face, fundraising rarely tops the list,” Baker writes. “They tend to cite issues like finding the right employees, affording health insurance, and dealing with tax issues.”
Baker points out that starting a business also requires “mentoring, mentorship and guidance in developing an effective go-to-market strategy.”
Last month, parking management software and payment solutions provider ParkHub merged with JustPark, one of the UK’s leading app-based parking booking technology and payment platforms. This is the company’s latest move, as it partners with Dallas businesses, municipalities, and venues such as: AT&T Stadium and American Airlines Center.
