Greetings, goobers, goblins, and gamers, and welcome to the PC Gamer Chat Log podcast! How has your week been so far? I'm writing this from the past because I've actually been away from the office this week and enjoying a much-needed vacation. Should I now do all the errands I've been putting off or sit down and play games? Only future Molly knows.
If future Molly is ignoring her responsibilities and sitting on her ass in favor of video game pixel people, she'll probably be doing it from her Steam library. This is just one of her many game launchers vying for our attention, but it still continues to reign as most people's preferred choice. But what about world epics? Ubisoft Connects, EA Apps, and can someone please give me some thoughts on Amazon Games?
We talk all about PC game launchers. And who better to talk about it than the guy who ranked a ton of game launchers earlier this year? Robin Valentine heroically stuffed his PC full of launchers and rolled them all around. Then, I hit a certain percentage on each of them. You should go read his awesome launcher rankings as soon as possible, but don't forget to come back later to hear about it.
Are you a loyal and avid Steam user? Perhaps you've been enticed by all of Epic's freebies and haven't had the courage to use anything else, or perhaps you're reliably and regularly reloading your library to GOG for the ultimate centralized platform. You may be one of the few people you sync with. Whatever you do, we want to hear about it. Be sure to visit the PC Gamer forums. A thread will be set up for this week's episode.
