Pickleball Kingdom, which opened a 15-court indoor pickleball facility in Plano earlier this year, is in the process of expanding with two more facilities in two other North Texas cities.
One of the new facilities, scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2024, will be located at 14060 Dallas Parkway at Spring Valley Road, north of the Galleria Dallas. It will be just over 30,000 square feet and feature 11 indoor pickleball courts.
The other facility, at 5650 Kroger Drive in North Fort Worth, near the Keller city line, will be larger, about 50,000 square feet, and will feature 17 indoor pickleball courts. It is expected to open around the first quarter of 2025 and will be “the largest indoor dedicated pickleball court in North Texas,” according to the company.
Amenities at each facility will include “year-round play on indoor courts with outdoor equivalents, hourly play rates, monthly membership options (including special Founding Member offers), pro shops, locker rooms, lounges, meeting space, a grab-and-go snack bar in ‘The Kitchen,’ private lessons, complimentary Pickleball 101 classes, leagues, tournaments and events,” the company said.
Like the Plano location, the two new locations will feature “outdoor arenas” that pickleball enthusiasts will love.
Pickleball Kingdom joins a growing list of pickleball venues opening in the area, including Pickle and Social in Frisco, Picklemall in Dallas and The Pickler in Dallas and Fort Worth.
Dan Jenkins, “Master Franchisee” for Pickleball Kingdom North Texas, called the two new locations “A vibrant, active community.”
“Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where players of all ages and skill levels can enjoy the sport, interact with other players and feel part of a supportive community,” he added in a statement.
