Dallas wins 2nd straight
The Dallas Mavericks won their second straight game on Tuesday, defeating the Brooklyn Nets 119-102 on the second night of a back-to-back game. The summary of this game ended quickly. Dallas dominated the Nets, and despite having a few lapses mentally on defense, the Mavericks did their job in great fashion. Luka Doncic played too much time, but Kyrie Irving looked like a man on a mission. After we had a good time talking about this game, we moved back to talking about trades.
It was a fun show because winning makes everything else easier. Of course, there's still a lot of work to do, but perhaps the trade deadline will make that task easier for Dallas in games and weeks. However, this does mean that a trade actually takes place, and it is difficult to say how likely that is at this point. Dallas doesn't have a lot of assets, and it's hard to imagine them moving a player like Josh Green for any amount of money.
