Kanna suitable for daily doses may be associated with microdosing of psilocybin. There's even a “sweet spot” for the combination of these two drugs, Wang says. Apart from this, there are certain contraindications with other drugs that carry the risk of serotonin syndrome.
There are important differences between kanna and MDMA, psilocybin microdoses, and the kanna products currently available on the market. Extracts, unlike herbs and powders, contain alkaloids and therefore require safe sourcing. “There are many nuances to finding a good canna,” Wank said, adding that each person needs to find their right amount.
“What we really need is more education, because most people still haven't heard much about kanna and tend to confuse it with kratom and kava. Also, people need to be more receptive to these alternatives. “Voluntary health care and empowering oneself as a healer is an ongoing trend that is only getting stronger,” she added.
