This week, the Geek Warning crew will be discussing new pedals, bikes, wheels, and more on our podcast.
With much of the industry in a post-COVID-19 slump, brands are working harder than ever to carve out niches to survive. Colnago's new C68 gravel bike is ultra-luxury in design, and looking at the sales numbers, the emphasis on luxury is clearly paying off. Campagnolo seems to have fallen into the same strategy almost by accident, but is it working? It's not very clear. Hunt also debuted their latest Aero His wheels, and the Hookless Hes look like they'll be a great performance bargain as long as you can use the rims. Clipless Road said the Frenchman just when he thought pedals couldn't get any better. Brand Ekoi's new road pedal and shoe system may really move the needle.
And have road bike tire sizes finally reached a stable point? perhaps. Or maybe not.
