On Tuesday afternoon, ESPN's Tim Bontemps appeared on an episode of Kirk Your Enthusiasm with Pod Maverick to talk about all things basketball-related.
At the beginning of the program, we asked Bontemps questions focusing on what he likes about his job. Although being an NBA beat reporter is a tough job (at least it sounds like it to me), he emphasized how much he still loves the job and going to and covering games.

He explains how he comes up with what has become a staple of NBA content each year in the MVP straw poll. Then he talks a little about the election itself and how different voters come to different conclusions. This is a fun discussion, even if Maverick fans are annoyed that Nikola Jokic will likely win his third Most Valuable Player Award.
I'll end with a little talk about the upcoming first round playoff series between the Mavericks and Clippers. By Game 3, Luka had played half of his career playoff games against the Los Angeles Clippers, which is crazy. It was a fun show, thank you for listening and watching!
