Muskogee, Oklahoma. (KTUL) — Bitcoin data center company Polaris Technologies announced Tuesday it will invest $100 million to build its first data center in Muskogee.
The 200-megawatt data center will be located at the John T. Griffin Industrial Park in Portmuscogee and will focus on digital industry skills in IT.
The company also aims to fill 20 positions in facilities support, systems management, data center technicians and support services.

Muskogee Mayor Marlon Coleman also expressed support for the data center, saying the investment aligns with the city's vision of becoming a hub for high-tech, living-wage jobs.
