The first game between the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars was a thrilling one, going into double overtime with the Oilers winning to take the series lead, but the Stars will now try to show their mettle and tie the series in Game 2 on Saturday.
It was a testament to the Edmonton Oilers’ teamwork when Leon Draiseitel scored the first goal on an assist from Brett Clark, before Zach Hyman added another goal on an assist from star player Connor McDavid.
Tyler Seguin came on for the Stars and scored both goals, sending the game into overtime. No goals were scored in the first overtime, and it was a tense affair. Connor McDavid finally scored a goal in the second overtime to seal the win for the Oilers. It was a nail-biting Game 1, setting the stage for Game 2.

The Stars have not performed as well at home as they have on the road, so it will be a close game with the Oilers covering the spread.”
