“The ROMAnce Podcast” is a new podcast featuring Kenzie K. of “The Brian and Kenzie Show” and her husband, Chicago media personality Justin Roman. With a new child on the way, Kenzie and Roman let Q101 fans into their lives as they navigate the ups and downs of modern relationships and parenting in the honest and hilarious way only they can.
“A Case For…” is a new podcast starring Case, producer of “The Brian and Kenzie Show,” where he “makes a case” for new artists and entertainers who pre-empt listeners before they become famous.
“Car Con Carne,” an established mainstay of Chicago's podcast scene, comes to Q101 as a homecoming of sorts with host James VanOsdol, who helped lead Q101 to iconic status in Chicago . He currently speaks with artists from all walks of life and brings his interesting and in-depth knowledge to his Q101 podcast.
Q101 Program Director James Kurziel said: “Q101 is a Chicago icon, and adding a new podcast offering allows us to extend the reach of our brand even deeper into the fabric of Chicagoland.”
Kenzie and Roman commented: romance podcast! This is really going to be a fun and interesting look behind the scenes of not only our relationship, but many other relationships! ”
James Van Osdol says: “I started, grew and defined my radio career on Q101. This station is deeply embedded in my DNA. Now that I'm doing radio in my car, it's not as depressing as I thought it would be. However, we are very happy and honored to partner with Q101.”
Keith Law says: “When music festival posters flood my social media feeds, I find myself inundated with comments from listeners who say they no longer recognize any of the bands. I feel a sense of duty to help these people know that this does not mean that it has ceased to exist.I hope so even though the world is in such turmoil. Case… It serves as an unquestionable stamp of approval for what comes next in the alternative world. ”
