Latoria Marshall, a 37-year-old real estate agent, was caught driving while intoxicated near Old Matthews Road on May 25. An officer drove behind her vehicle and observed her crossing lanes multiple times and then completely driving into oncoming traffic for two to three seconds. The officer then initiated a traffic stop and observed Marshall as the only occupant of the vehicle. While speaking with Marshall, authorities noticed a can of Corona Extra beer in the center console. The officer then asked Marshall multiple times if she had consumed alcohol, to which she initially did not respond. When the officer asked again, Marshall admitted to drinking one bottle of beer. The officer then asked if she would like to exit the vehicle to administer a breathalyzer test, as he smelled alcohol on her breath. Marshall consented to the test but showed numerous signs of intoxication. Marshall was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, and when officers searched her vehicle, they found a baggie containing a green substance believed to be 12.3 grams of marijuana. Marshall was taken into custody May 26 for DUI and possession of an open alcoholic beverage.
Latoria Denise Marshall was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 26 on charges of DUI and DWI violations. A judicial commissioner set her bail at $2,500.
