CHICAGO (August 14, 2023) – REALTORS® Relief Foundation Announces $1.5 Million in Disaster Relief Assistance to Hawaii REALTORS® to Support Maui REALTORS® Association Due to Recent Fires on Maui, Hawaii announced that it had been done. Funds will be made available to the public to help victims pay for housing as relief and recovery efforts continue.
“Maui's recent wildfires have had a significant impact on our residents, and we are here to support them during this difficult time,” said RRF Chairman Mike McGrew. “RRF grants aim to ease the road to recovery and provide concrete support to those rebuilding their lives. We recognize that unity and community spirit are invaluable in these face-to-face situations.”
Since 2001, RRF has provided more than $40 million in assistance to more than 20,000 families nationwide. The National Association of Realtors® covers all administrative costs and ensures that 100% of the funds raised are distributed directly to disaster relief efforts.
