Welcome to “The Red Seat Podcast” episode number 313. This week, Jake Devereaux, Keaton DeRosher, and Bob Osgood take a look at a ton of news about his 14-12 Red Sox, much of it injury-related, and which hot and cold starts are actually Determine what will be done.
We started the show by talking about Brayan Bello's injury and what the rotation will look like for the next two weeks. With a bullpen day scheduled for Thursday and a few off days, the hope is that the Sox rotation can get some reinforcements from the IL before moving deeper into the minor leagues.
Triston Casas is out indefinitely with a broken rib, but replacing Bobby Dalbec is not to be taken lightly. We discussed the possibility of Nico Cavadas and free agent options Garrett Cooper and Brandon Belt.
Jake and Bob have been having a Masa Yoshida feud for a week now and felt the need to air it on the podcast. On Wednesday night, Yoshida held the spot for the fifth time in seven games, and despite manager Alex Cora's confirmation that he would be the starting DH, Yoshida himself seemed frustrated.
He was asked if he was disappointed not to be able to play in OF. A long, long pause.

We then created a hot/cold start segment and decided whether to buy or sell the next player's start.
Hot: Wylya Abreu, Tyler O'Neal, Connor Wong, Rob Refsnyder (Limited Sample)
Cold: Rafael Devers, Emmanuel Valdez, Masa Yoshida, Bobby Dalbec, David Hamilton, Pablo Reyes
At the end of the show, we took listener questions about the depth that Craig Breslow has built and who his most important bullpen members are.
