Salisbury Post launches Real Local Stories podcast

SALISBURY — Part of a place is the people who live there. Those are probably the most important parts.
To share those stories, amy williams Members of the Salisbury Post are starting a podcast called Real Local Stories.
The first episode will air live on Monday with special guest Josh Saunders, a Kannapolis resident who currently airs on NBC's The Voice. In the episode, williams Explore Sanders' background, what makes him unique, and how Rowan County shaped who he is.
“We wanted to bring together people who have had a tremendous impact on their region and community.” williams This is what she said about her guest: She has already given numerous interviews, which will be published weekly.
williams Podcasting has a long history. Before joining the Salisbury Post, he ran a podcasting company.
She and her family recently moved to North Carolina from Michigan.
“Moving here has been such a great experience for our family and we've found a place that feels like home, so this seemed like the next step in our journey to learn more about North Carolina. Ta.” williams Said.
williams It also seemed like a good fit for her new employer, she explained.
“I saw an opportunity for the Salisbury Post to reach more people and leverage the digital space in new ways.” williams Said.
Well, the wait is finally over.
“There's been a lot of talk about podcasts.” williams Said. “I feel like a lot of people are talking about it.”
for williamsthis project offered a glimpse into a variety of perspectives showing Rowan County's diverse makeup.
“We all have our own stories, trials and triumphs that lead us to where we are today.” williams Said. “I love that those stories can form a community and be shared within it.
“I’m truly honored to be the host of this podcast and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.”
