SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY — Bright Sighted Podcasting announces the launch of its newest podcast in partnership with local nonprofit organizations.
“A Place of Yes” will release weekly episodes starting Thursday, February 29th, showcasing Jake's help from heaven. Each episode will be about a nonprofit organization based in Saratoga Springs. This nonprofit organization was founded in 2011 by Heather Stroter following the sudden death of her 4-year-old son Jake.
The purpose of the podcast is to help listeners learn how to communicate their grief permanently. Episodes feature mothers who have experienced grief and joy, children helped by Jake through nonprofit organizations, and individuals who have helped families through Jake's heavenly help.
“I'm excited to announce the launch of the podcast 'A Place of Yes,'” Straughter said in a news release. “We live every day with the fact that our son is dead, that he is not here. There is no easy way around it. There is no time to heal all the wounds. That's not true. We have to make the choice to find the good and give the good. We help listeners learn how to turn their sadness into something positive, and we also share Jake's I look forward to showing the community the good we have done in its name.”
“We are honored to work on this podcast with Heather and Jake’s Help from Heaven,” Bright Sighted Media founder Christine O’Donnell said in a release. “Producing and listening to this podcast helped me work through personal grief, and I was deeply moved by the interview Heather conducted. I believe it will have a deep impact on listeners and help them process their grief in a comforting way.”
