- Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are promoting each other's businesses.
- At Coachella, Swift wore a hat with the name of Kelsey's podcast on it.
- Kelce has previously donned the costume to promote Swift's album release.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce seem to be on good terms with each other, as they are always seen smiling lovingly and holding hands when they go out.
And they are definitely good for business.
For example, when the couple was spotted together at Coachella over the weekend, Swift wore a green New Heights hat, a nod to Kelsey's podcast that she shares with her brother Jason Kelsey.
As their relationship has developed since it began last summer, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has frequently dropped details on his podcast, regularly looking for Easter eggs about the pop star's life and discography. It really made the Swifties there happy.
In addition to promoting his tight end podcast, Swift wore Chiefs apparel and cheered on him during the NFL season, which culminated in February's Super Bowl victory. The Swifties echoed this sentiment, with some overseas fans wearing Chiefs merchandise when they attended Swifties' concerts during the Elas tour.
While Swift has been promoting Kelce's business, the NFL star has done the same for her. In September, she wore a 1989-themed fit, a nod to Swift's re-recorded album “1989 (Taylor's Version).”
Their dual economic impact extends beyond themselves.
The Chiefs' owner credits Swift with increasing the team's female viewership, with some experts estimating she brought the team more than $300 million in profit, Newsweek reported.
Meanwhile, demand for tickets for her Elas tour soared, destroying the Ticketmaster site and leading to a parliamentary investigation into the ticket seller.
Swift's American concerts have injected more than $5 billion into the national economy. In fact, from his concert stops to his NFL game appearances, Swift is creating a booming mini-economy everywhere he goes.
Spokespeople for Swift, Kelsey and New Heights did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Business Insider on Sunday.
