Tysons, Virginia, Dallas—Tegna Inc. has reached an agreement with the Dallas Mavericks to expand its market offering free terrestrial broadcasts of the team's NBA games.
This new deal is in addition to a previously announced deal in which Tegna's Dallas-Fort Worth ABC affiliates will broadcast 10 games, as well as Tegna's KCEN in Waco, KYTX in Tyler, KWES in Midland-Odessa, KIDY in San Angelo, That means KXVA in Abilene will also be broadcasting. This season, 10 Dallas Mavericks games will be broadcast. These games will be accessible to nearly 9 million Texans across six markets.

The 10 games on the Tegna schedule are not available on Bally Sports Southwest or the Bally Sports app. All remaining Mavericks games this season will be broadcast and streamed by Bally Sports and/or the NBA's national media partners as previously scheduled.
Mark Followill, who is in his 19th season as the Mavericks' play-by-play announcer, Mavericks legends Derek Harper and Devin Harris, and Jeff “Skin” Wade and Leslie McCaslin will be joining these teams.
