After-hours stock movers:
Tesla (NASDAQ:) stock fell 3% after the company reported fourth-quarter results that missed consensus estimates for revenue and bottom line. Tesla said its car sales growth rate in 2024 could be significantly lower than the growth rate achieved in 2023 as the team works to launch next-generation vehicles.
IBM (NYSE:) shares rose 4.8% after the company reported earnings and sales that beat consensus estimates. Looking ahead, the company expects sales to increase at constant currency, in line with his mid-single-digit model.
las vegas sands (NYSE:) rose 2% after the company reported fourth-quarter revenue slightly above consensus while EPS was slightly below expectations. Management said the results reflected the continued improvement in the operating environment in both Macau and Singapore.
Lam Research (NASDAQ:) rose 1.4% after the company reported better-than-expected earnings per share in the second quarter with solid guidance. Stocks had been trending higher for several days leading up to print.
ServiceNow (NYSE:) fell 1.6% despite reporting EPS that beat the average analyst estimate.
Seagate Technology (STX) rose 1% after the company reported a surprise profit instead of a loss for the quarter, despite flat sales. Seagate has also issued published expectations guidance.
Hexcel Co., Ltd. . (NYSE:) fell 9% after releasing worse-than-expected fourth-quarter results and his lower-than-expected 2024 outlook.
