Rapper Childish Gambino, aka actor Donald Glover, will embark on a cross-country tour on Wednesday, September 11th, hitting three stops in Texas, including the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
The tour kicks off in Oklahoma City on August 11th and will hit 33 cities in the US and Canada in just under two months, before heading to Europe and Australia.
In addition to Dallas, other Texas stops on the tour include:
- Houston, September 8th at Toyota Center
- Austin, September 10th, at the Moody Center.
Willow will be the opening act for all performances in North America.
This tour is in support of Gambino's “new” album. Atavistawhich is actually just a reimagining of his 2020 album. 20.3.15he did not consider it “finished” at the time of its initial release.
The album will feature two new songs, including the title track, as well as collaborations with Ariana Grande, 21 Savage, Summer Walker, and Young Nudy. The latter is featured on “Little Foot Bigfoot,” for which Gambino just released his first new video in six years.
The last time he passed through town was in 2018.
