The Canadian coffee and donut chain plans to open its first North Texas location in Coppell later this year or early next year.
DALLAS — After opening its first North Texas store in Coppell later this year or early next year, Canadian coffee and donut chain Tim Hortons is eyeing Denton for its second North Texas location, a spokesperson said. Confirmed with WFAA.
Tim Horton's Coppell will occupy a 1,640-square-foot space at 440 State Route 121 North, according to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Construction of the Coppell store will cost $900,000 and is expected to be completed by March 1, 2025, according to filings.
“After this first restaurant, our goal is to open a restaurant in Denton in early 2025,” a spokesperson said. “We have many locations lined up across DFW and plan to be in every major market in the region over the next few years.”
The spokesperson did not provide additional information about the location's specific address.
Tim Hortons opened its first store in Katy in 2022, followed by other stores in the Houston area.
