Tim Tuttle and Kevin Kline, whom Houston morning listeners know from their nearly 20-year association on 93Q KKBQ, are reuniting through the new Tuttle & Kline podcast.
“For over 25 years, we have traveled across numerous stations, cities and shifts,” the pair told mikemcguff.com. “But what truly defined our partnership was not just the distance we covered, but the bonds we formed on and off the air.
“A shared passion for radio, a knack for storytelling, and an instinctive understanding of each other's rhythms created a chemistry that is beloved and memorable by our listeners. We don't just talk, we connect. That's why it still is. Tuttle and Klein touched the hearts of the people who watched the show.”
Tuttle and Klein launched their official podcast on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, and morning show veterans say the response has been extraordinary. His pilot episode debuted within the top 10% of podcasts worldwide.
What started out as a friendly catch-up quickly turned into an exciting collaboration when Tuttle appeared as a guest on Klein's “The Fuzzy Mike” podcast. After three years apart, they realized they could recreate the magic they had on the airwaves and expand their reach through podcasting.
“This podcast is an exciting new chapter for both of us,” said Klein, who now lives in Missouri. “We've always loved connecting with our audiences, and now we have a platform to do it in a whole new way.”
“We're back and ready to make you laugh, make you think, and maybe even shed a tear or two,” added Tuttle, who still lives in Houston. “It’s been a wild ride, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!”
After a career that began at Thunder 94 in Nashville, Tennessee, and extended to X101.5 WXSR in Tallahassee, Florida, and 107.7 The Ta. Together for many years.
Klein retired in February 2021 at 93rd quarter, followed by Tuttle in May 2022.
Fans reunited online can expect the familiar voices, stories and insights that have become a staple of morning radio shows.
The Tuttle & Klein Podcast is now available on all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.
