The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) recently recognized two local agents, Brandon Blankenship and Melanie Miller, as members of its annual 30 Under 30 class. Mr. Blankenship is an agent with Keller Williams Premier Properties in Glen Ellyn, and Mr. Miller is an agent with Keller Williams One Chicago in the city.
The awards from NAR highlight young agents who are achieving “exceptional accomplishments” in a tough market, and this year marks the program's 25th year.th. Approximately 300 agents under the age of 30 applied for spots in the 2024 class. From there, a panel of judges narrowed the group down to a final 30 participants. Miller and Blankenship were among them.
Miller first entered the real estate industry as a landlord when she was just 24 years old and earned her real estate agent license two years later in 2020. Quickly, she earned her reputation as one of Chicago's most fashionable agents, and last year she opened up about: Her unique style at Chicago Agent. “I pride myself on being neat, whether I'm showing a million-dollar house or a rental apartment,” Miller said at the time.
Meanwhile, Blankenship has been a real estate agent since 2019, starting his career in California and returning to his home state of Illinois in 2021.
