Dana White left less than a minute into the podcast, causing chaos.
The UFC CEO appeared on the show “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” before the bizarre incident occurred.
He sat alongside comedian Ginger Billy, host Howie Mandel and his daughter Jackelyn Schultz.
The podcast began with Mandel paying a glowing tribute to White and thanking him for spending time with him as he turned 54.
“I can't thank you enough for being here. You and Ginger seem to be getting along great,” Mandel said.
“You are not only a great businessman, but also an inspiration and a philosopher.
“The way you do business, the way you do business, your friendships, and the media…I envy you.
“But, Danna, I can't thank you enough for being here.”
But with White's only input, he uttered four sentences before leaving the recording studio.
The American billionaire said, “Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate them.
“I’m really tired of doing podcasts, I’m literally done with it.
“I'm not doing podcasts anymore.”
Mandel, Schultz, and Ginger Billy were all visibly surprised by the sudden resignation.
After a long pause, Mandel continued without mentioning White's resignation, and the podcast turned into an extended interview with Ginger Billy.
White, who is currently busy hosting UFC 300, did not return to the hour-long show.
At this time, it is unclear what caused the incident or whether it was orchestrated.
