Last week, Virginia REALTORS® joined REALTORS® from across the country in Washington, DC to network, learn, advocate on behalf of the real estate industry, and celebrate an exciting milestone for RPAC.
Virginia’s Federal Political Coordinator organized some great meetings with members of Virginia’s Congressional Delegation. In fact, Virginia REALTORS® members met with 9 of the 13 federal congressional offices. These meetings gave Virginia Senators and Congressmen the opportunity to speak with REALTORS® in their districts about issues that directly affect their business and their clients. These impactful meetings bring you up close and personal with the industry and the policies that affect it.
Virginia REALTORS® also took the opportunity to celebrate seven new members who were inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame, which recognizes dedicated members who have made significant contributions to RPAC over the years, investing a lifetime total of $25,000 or more. In addition to these members, we also recognized two members who reached the $50,000 level of the RPAC Hall of Fame. A list of these members can be found here.
From the halls of the Convention Center to the Government Building, a lot of work has been accomplished in a short time at our nation’s Capitol, and this visit was clear evidence that when REALTORS® vote, act and invest, they succeed.
