Much of North Texas woke up Monday morning to patches of dense fog, with visibility dropping to less than 400 meters at times.
The National Weather Service has issued a fog advisory for parts of the region, including Dallas-Fort Worth, until 9 a.m. Monday.
The Bureau of Meteorology warned motorists to use low-beam headlights, slow down and maintain sufficient distance from vehicles during the morning commute.
The fog should clear by mid-to-late morning, giving way to clear skies by the afternoon. Sunday should be a respite after several days of rain and flood watches.
The weather service said the storm could return to North Texas as early as Tuesday, but the KXAS-TV (NBC5) forecast said there was no chance of rain in Dallas until Wednesday.
Highs will remain in the 80s before dropping into the low 70s on Friday, with lows expected to be in the 60s throughout the week.
