This concludes the 2024 Oscar season. But first, Variety Awards Circuit Podcast Roundtable dives in one last time to take a final look at the likes, dislikes, and head-scratchers from Sunday night's awards show. “Oppenheimer” was a great success, but it did not become completely popular. “Poor Things” is too poorly formed. (Sorry, this is a roundtable, so dad jokes and bad puns are a must!) We're still not sure what Al Pacino was doing before handing out the Academy Award for Best Picture.
