Galleria Hanukkah Menorah lighting
free On Hanukkah night, candles are lit in the Galleria's large menorah. The opening night will feature remarks from Temple Shalom Rabbi Andrew Paley, a performance by the temple's youth choir, and for a limited time, jelly donuts.

Chabad and Hanukkah Celebrations in Plano
free The lighting of this menorah is done in honor of the Israel Defense Forces. There will be live music by Israeli Defense Forces Officer Rav Pudaya and traditional sweets such as Hanukkah light-up necklaces, latkes, donuts and chocolate coins.

Klyde Warren Park Menorah Lighting
free The giant pink menorah returns to the downtown Deck Park for evening illumination. InTown Chabad will host a special celebration on Dec. 10 with music, gel drops, Hanukkah treats, and the lighting of the menorah at sunset.
The night lights will be turned on at sunset from Dec. 7 to 15, and will be held at Klyde Warren Park on the Woodall Rogers Freeway in Dallas on Dec. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. kleidewallenpark.org; theintownchabad.com.
Unite through the light of Southlake
free Chabad of Southlake holds a menorah lighting ceremony on the fourth night of Hanukkah. The event will feature balloon twisters, crafts for kids, a DJ, gel drops and more.

City Line Grand Menorah Lighting
free At sunset, candles will be lit in the 9-foot-tall menorah, followed by a drop of chocolate coins from the Richardson Fire Department's ladder truck. Enjoy Hanukkah crafts and snacks. Richardson Mayor Bob Dubay will also be in attendance at the event, which is sponsored by Chabad of Richardson and the University of Texas at Dallas.

Hanukkah lights are lit on the farm
Visit the Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano for a celebration of the 6th night of Hanukkah. This event allows participants to have the farm to themselves. The event is part of the Lights on the Farm festival, which features an outdoor holiday light display. There will be menorah lighting, kosher treats such as sufganiyot, a dreidel-twirling contest, and an opportunity to view light displays and holiday displays. To ensure a safe night, you must present state-approved identification upon arrival.
