Chicago-based national workspace company Workbox has opened its first Texas location at Victory Plaza on the northern edge of downtown Dallas. At more than 50,000 square feet, Workbox Dallas-Victory Park is the company’s largest workspace outside of Chicago.
“We have been exploring expanding into the Dallas and Texas market for several years now and jumped at the opportunity to start our journey in the vibrant Uptown market,” Workbox co-founder and CEO John Wallace said in a statement. “In addition to attracting some of the city’s most exciting businesses, the Uptown district was also a great fit for us, with its appealing retail, amenities and entertainment options for our member base.”
WorkBox Dallas Victory Park offers entrepreneurs and businesses the opportunity to join a co-working community of growing companies, according to the company. In addition to flexible workspace solutions, the company added, member benefits also include direct connections to more than 100 capital and operating partners, programming and networking events, as well as connections to the broader member community and affiliates such as WorkBox Ventures.
The Victory Park store is located at 3090 Nowitzki Way, Suite 300, right next to the American Airlines Center, and marks the company’s ninth location nationwide since opening five years ago.
Workbox says members will have access to two floors of workspace, a lounge, meeting rooms, an open kitchen and offices for teams ranging from one to 130 people.
A new fitness center and daytime lounge exclusively for residents is also due for completion this month, Workbox said.
